CE Marking
CE Marking is the technical term for all CE marked products--it is how CE certification is written about in EU documents. The marking is needed for a great number of products that are exported to the 25 countries in the EU and three countries in the European Free Trade Association (EFTA)--Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. The EU countries are central European countries and other countries such as Austria and Finland, as well as the U.K. The types of products that need CE marking are too numerous to mention. They include gas-burning appliances, electrical equipment, machinery, telecommunications equipment, marine vehicles, toys, and a number of others. When you just factor in low voltage electrical equipment and toys, this accounts for thousands upon thousands of products. The CE Directory has extensive links to all of the 22 groups of products that are required to have CE marking. It is fast becoming the most convenient search engine for buyers and other professionals who want a quick and easy way to find legal CE products. Before the CE Directory, there was no convenient way to find products that can be legally sold in the EU. CE Growth |
